No-Fault Reform
For years, the Insurance Alliance of Michigan has been a strong supporter of fixing Michigan's broken, outdated auto no-fault system by cracking down on fraud, reining-in overcharging by medical providers and giving consumers a choice in their level of medical coverage.
Per Governor Whitmer's Executive Order 2020-21 (Section 9 (c)) the Insurance Alliance of Michigan is considered an exempt entity. All employees, including Executive Director, General Counsel, Office Administrator, and insurance tenants will work remotely when possible and conduct on-site operations only when imperative. Information Technology subcontractors utilized to maintain our off-site capabilities are considered critical infrastructure support to the extent they need to maintain our operations.
